What is  Bowenwork?

Healing from within!

Bowenwork is a dynamic system of muscle and
connective tissue therapy developed in Australia by the
Tom Bowen.  Using gentle, rolling moves to the
muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerve fibers, it stimulates
the body to heal itself.  Amazing results have been
reported!  The Bowen Technique offers tremendous
benefit to clients with very little effort on the part of the
Bowenwork addresses the entire body by restoring balance via the autonomic  nervous
system. The ANS controls over 80% of bodily functions

Bowenwork  can address most issues in 3 - 8 sessions.  Chronic or neurological  problems
may take more sessions to relieve or resolve.

A Bowenwork session involves one or more 'procedures', each of which consists of several
sets of  'moves'.  Between each set of moves, the practitioner pauses for as many minutes as
are needed for the client's body to begin responding.

Bowenwork sessions may last between 20  and 60 minutes.

Bowenwork may be done thru lightweight, loose clothing.

Bowenwork can be done seated or on a massage table or bed.

Bowenwork is subtle and minimal, allowing the body to use its own innate healing capacity to
make needed changes. No other modalities are recommended for at least five days following
a session to allow the Bowen 'move'  to do its 'magic'  uninterrupted.
